That was a long time I turned the pages of my food blog. There are many reasons not to update with my beloved hobby. Visit of In-laws, Toddler becoming more demanding……
As I look forward for more leisure personal time , when you do what you love….
Meanwhile you may want to look at my paintings that I consider my life time acheivements.

Oh my god, those are STUNNING! I wish I had learnt that particular art when I was in India. I especially love the symmetry and balance in the faces, the beautifully done eyes and facial expressions. Most people mess up in that department, but you’ve done a FAB job. Lovely, lovely work. Absolutely gorgeous! 🙂

I like this Reverse Glass Painting…Can you please tell me where did you get the glass outline print from?
Your paintings are breathtaking and very soulful. Have a touch of the wonderful Tamilnadu reversed glass painting.
I am wondering what paint you recommend? I do not want to have to use a kiln.
I would appreciate your help.

I did a web search on Ganesha glass painting and visited your blog. My mother-in-law did the SAME one for us but when my brother-in-law brought it to the US it cracked in transit. There’s a crack that runs on the left part of the painting. If it were some other type of art we could just change the glass but this being a glass painting I don’t know what to do, especially as we consider keeping a broken glass at home as not the right thing to do 🙁 Can you give me some ideas… pls reply to my email id if possible.. thanks.
hi can u please post how to make it
awesome painting.i do paint but yours are great.
Hello
Fantastic job.I am in US I am learning reverse Tanjore painting .But I dont have a picture that I can keep in my home.So could u please tell me where to get the printed glass
My parents live in Blore they can go to Madras too.PPPPPPlease tell me where to find the printed glass
Hi Priya,
You get the printed glass ready to paint in RM Fancy stores. Their main branch is in Paris and another in Adyar near periyapalayathu amman koil. They have got a variety of them. Also if you have a master pic in hand and wonder how to transfer the print to the glass, you could do this. Take a photocopy of the pic on a OHP sheet and paint on it itself.
Hi Sethu,
I know how you fell about the painting broken. One best thing is to avoid this is to paint on OHP sheets and frame with glass on top.
